Newcomers to Neighbors
Media Narrative Project
This book was a collaboration with my classmates that explored Middle Eastern culture in Los Angeles. I was the photographer for a chapter focused on the culture surrounding food and hospitality in Little Arabia, a neighborhood in Anaheim, CA.
Through this project, I:
-
Regularly visited and engaged in local community activities.
-
Collaborated with story partner to produce visuals that companied the written content of our chapter.
-
Cultivated cross-cultural relationships with community members and business owners throughout the area.
