Newcomers to Neighbors

As a student in Biola University's journalism program, my Media Narrative class produced a book detailing the life of Middle Eastern Refugees living in Southern California.
As a photographer, I was partnered with a writer to document the food and hospitality industry in Little Arabia.
Together, we discovered the importance of family in Middle Eastern culture, and the communal bond that connected the community through taste and tradition.

The goal of our chapter was to honor the culturally rich and vibrant neighborhood situated within the larger metropolitan city.

Abroad

Over the years, I have found that my passion for travel and digital creation interlace thought various international trips.
Through these experiences, I was given the opportunity to stretch the boundaries of my personal and professional comfort zones.
My travels help cultivate a cross-cultural perspective that is imperative to my impact as a digital storyteller.
